Delete your MarketClue account

This page is for people with an account in the MarketClue app. The app is developed by MarketClue DevOps s. r. o., a company in the MarketClue group.

1. Open the MarketClue app.
2. Go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
3. Confirm the deletion.

If you signed in a while ago, the app first asks you to confirm it is you, with your password or with Sign in with Apple or Google, before it deletes the account.

You do not need to install the app again. E-mail privacy@marketclue.com from the e-mail address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". If you cannot send from that address — for example, you signed in with Apple and hid your e-mail — write from any address, and we will ask you to confirm it is you before we act.

We may ask you to confirm the request before we act on it. We ask only for what is needed to confirm it is you, and we do not use it for anything else. We respond within one month, which we may extend by a further two months for a complex request, telling you why.

Deleting your account is a request to erase the personal data tied to it. What the app deletes, and what it may still have to keep and for how long, is set out in the MarketClue Privacy Notice presented to you when you were granted access to the app.

If you also joined the waitlist or wrote to us through marketclue.com, our Privacy Policy sets out how long we keep each kind of data:

• Waitlist e-mail address: 24 consecutive months after the later of your signup and your last e-mail engagement, then deleted.
• Whether our e-mails were opened and their links clicked: 24 months from the event.
• Messages you sent us: 24 months from the last message in the thread.

You can ask us to erase these sooner. Say so in the same e-mail.
